Born on the Island of Taiwan and immigrating to Orange County, CA when 2 years old. So blessed to have grown up in the 70s and 80s in Orange County. Disneyland was and still is my family's happy place.
Proudly sworn in as a U.S. Citizen in the 80s with my parents and little brother. Also was so proud to serve in the US Navy with bootcamp beginning in Orlando, Florida Naval Training Center shortly after graduation from San Gabriel High School.
After completing my enlistment with an honorable discharge from the US Navy, I continued as a work study for the Veterans Hospital in San Diego radiology department.
Shortly afterwards, I was hired to a national Health Plan in San Diego.
Growing from the ground up at the organization enabled me to gain wonderful work experiences from member services, Provider Contracting, Network Development and rising through the organization to become a National Health Plan Account Manager with frequent national travels.
After birth of my daughter, made the decision to transition over to entrepreneurship successfully running an import/export and internet business that included my E bay Power-seller store and Amazon merchant with 100% positive feedback. After many successful years running the internet and import/export business, made the transition back to the insurance industry. Working as a successful agent for a large insurance carrier, I made my transition back to business owner of my own insurance agency to ensure that my team provides our best client servicing possible. With my agency's growing stability and success, I have been able to explore volunteer roles in my community with Hesperia Centennial Lions club acting as Secretary as well as an adviser to Hesperia Centennial Leo Club junior members.
Our Hesperia Centennial Club mission has been to support special needs events in our local community so naturally evolved to working alongside Simply Rockn' It Events by Dana Hernandez. This work subsequently led to volunteering as Secretary for the new Rock'n Our Disabilities Foundation founded by Dana Hernandez. Looking forward to the exciting activities and projects that we can bring to our high desert community through our work with the foundation.
